Stay warm, dry & stylish
Oh, the good old-fashioned hat! Although you can definitely go wrong with hats, there are also many ways you can go right. In my opinion, a few good hats are key to getting you through the winter by staying warm, dry and stylish. As mentioned in last week's post 'Stay Warm & Stylish in the Cold,' winter is just around the corner and staying warm and looking stylish is no easy task. This is where picking up a few cute hats can change your style game.

The Classic Toque/Beanie
The iconic toque is definitely a Canadian fashion staple. It's practically a must-have to get through the cold winter months! The toque keeps you nice and warm through the freezing temperatures, but finding the right fit/style can be tricky. Do you prefer a slouchy one, a fold-over, a tight fit? It really comes down to what looks good on you. I always seem to like the fold-over look on others, but whenever I try it, something just doesn't fit right. A few go-to places that I check when purchasing are: Aritzia - cute styles, good quality; Forever21 - Lots of options & good prices; H&M - Make sure to check the men's section too!

The Fedora
I always seem to get many complements when I throw on a fedora - and trust me - I give them whenever I spot someone rocking it too. I love the way it looks! It took me a while to get into the style and even longer to muster the courage to wear it, but if you are considering it, all I can say is: do it! You will slay the look. The wool ones keep you super warm - you just have to beware on windy days that it doesn't go flying away. The best part about wearing a fedora is that it can double as an umbrella on rainy or snowy days. Stay warm and dry without having to lift a finger!

The Baker Boy Hat
The baker boy hat is definitely super-trendy at the moment. It is a great and budget-friendly way to spruce up your wardrobe. To be honest, I've been rocking this one during all four seasons, but think it is a great choice for winter. I picked mine up from H&M for just under $20. This is a great hat if you are planning to spend lots of time inside and out. It's not too big, bulky or warm. It feels natural wearing it indoors to malls, cafes etc. - a perfect hat to run errands in while still looking super chic!
