Ways to Spice Up Your Holiday Look

With one week to Christmas, it is time to start planning your wardrobe and if you’re anything like me, you are all spent out. Although I love putting outfits together for Christmas, it is not always the easiest because I don’t exactly want to spend any more money during the season.
Some easy ways to get festive and save $$ is to spice up your wardrobe with accessories, jewelry, and even make-up. A bold red lip is an absolute killer for the holiday season. You can dress in anything you want and throw on a red lip which automatically makes it festive. If you do not already own one, you can pick up a red lip stick from the drug store for just a few bucks, keeping you looking Christmas appropriate and on budget! Another favourite of mine is looking for some fun & flashy jewelry. A statement earring or necklace can go so far for the season. You can pick up some amazing pieces from Forever 21, H&M or department stores like Hudson's Bay or Nordstrom.

If you are someone who is not into jazzing up a simple outfit for the holiday and you want to spend a little more on a look, all the power to you. One thing that I would make sure to keep in mind is getting an outfit that is versatile enough to wear again not only in the season. this way you are getting the best bang for your buck!
