7 Go to Gifts for Anyone this Holiday Season

One of my favourite things about the holidays is finding the perfect gift for every person on my list. This is no easy task but from years of hunting for the perfect gifts, I came up with a little gift guide that I hope will help you out!

(Finding gifts for my boyfriend is maybe one of the hardest tasks, so I was going to call this the "Boyfriend gift guide" but after gathering up all the gifts I realized these gifts would be great for pretty much anyone!)

1.  Sweat ware 

There is nothing quite like a cozy sweatshirt or crew neck - I’m sure anyone would love to receive this as a gift. Making it even better, pick up one that is personalized. One of my favourites is the Peace Collective collection. They have some great products ranging from Canadian slogans to sports team apparel.

2. Tickets

Tickets are one of my favourite and go to gifts when buying for someone - literally everyone has interests that can be connected to a show or event. Not only can it be super personal by getting something that the person is truly interested in, but you can make a fun date out of it. Some ticket ideas to check out are: sports games, theatre, ballets, Cirque du Soleil, music concerts and the list goes on. It can also be something simple yet fun like entry to a paint night or spa. Seriously tickets are the way to go especially if the person has everything they want/need already.

3. Sunnies 

A nice pair of sunglasses are always a great buy. Costco sells a classic aviator Ray Ban that I am sure anyone would be happy to receive! 

4. Games and Puzzles 

Games and puzzles are a great gift as well, as this is an activity that you can do with the person receiving the gift. A few games that are sure not to disappoint are catch phrase, code names, monopoly deal and Catan. A few that may not be as popular as the above but are go to for me and my friends are Dutch blitz, Ghost blitz, and Pandemic.

5. Diffuser

Pretty much everyone loves a nice smelling space and a great way to achieve this is diffusers. Saje has a ton of beautiful diffusers with great scents to go with them. They not only make spaces smell great but help you relax.

6. Watch 

Watches are great gifts for people as they are both an amazing accessory and very practical. To snag some good deals on watches, check out the Watch Station outlet stores. There are locations in the GTA at Vaughn mills and Toronto Premium Outlets.  Another go to for me is Arvo - a great place to pick up beautiful and affordable watches. Tip if you put in your info and leave it for a day they are sure to send you a coupon as an incentive to buy.

7. Perfumes or Cologne sample Scent Kit

Shoppers Drug Mart sells a great holiday kit where they provide you with 10 samples of their top selling scents. Even better, after testing out the scents the receiver gets to choose their favourite one and get a full size bottle of it. Honestly this is such an incredible gift, as it takes away the stress of picking out the right scent for the person. Count me in on that one!
