Why buy more clothes when you have a ton to wear already?

Living in Toronto we reach two extremes when it comes to weather - the brittle cold winters which can reach down to -30 degrees or the super hot summers which hit +30. That being said, some of my favourite things to do when I get sick of my winter wardrobe is pull some summer items and style them to be winter appropriate! This way I can focus on the clothing that I already have in my closet and not worry too much about spending unnecessary money on new items.
How do you do it, you might ask?
Some of my favourite ways to do this is pairing turtle necks under dresses, jumpsuits or even blouses. Its looks super cute and the layers add a different dimension to your look. When wearing dresses I always add tights and throw on a pair of thigh high boots to keep my legs warm.
This also throws a little curve ball into your wardrobe, which in my experience scores a ton of compliments. People don’t usually think to style their summer clothes in the winter so it inspires a whole new wardrobe. Try it out and see for yourself!
