January shopping -What you need to know..

A lot of people know the deals they can scoop up on Boxing Day and many stores start their sales on this day – that being said many of these sales continue on for weeks and price cuts get deeper as they go! January is one of my favorite times to shop because retailers try to get rid of stock from the pervious years, so it’s a great time to pick up some amazing deals. For example – the Zara sale starts on Boxing Day but every couple of weeks they cut the prices. They even bring out new merchandise from other seasons that didn’t sell. Aritzia is also a great example - they usually start with 30-50% off and can make it all the way to 70%. Topshop, Banana Republic & Gap are a few other places that keep cutting prices until they are hard to walk away from.. trust me I’ve been there. This is why I play things really carefully during boxing week because a lot of the time, better deals are just around the corner. Keep in mind that some stores only offer boxing week deals and this is when you would want to take advantage of them. Club Monaco is definitely one of those places.
